Privacy notice

This notice applies to South Sound Decks, an independent deck-planning and referral website. For privacy questions, email hansaninvestmentsllc@gmail.com.

Project requests

If you submit the form, we store your name, email, selected project area, contact preference, timeline, project description, planning selections, consent record and a submission reference. Do not include financial account details, access codes or other sensitive information in the description.

How the information is used

We use the information to keep your project request, respond by email, understand the requested work and manage potential contractor introductions. Submission does not authorize unrelated marketing. We will contact you before sharing your request with an identified contractor.

Phone inquiries

Our project-request phone line is provided by CallRail. Calls and voicemail messages may be recorded. CallRail processes caller numbers, call details and voicemail recordings so we can review and respond to the inquiry. Call and voicemail notifications are sent to the site operator. Calling does not book an appointment or authorize unrelated marketing.

Storage and hosting

Requests are stored in the site’s hosted database. Hosting providers process the information needed to deliver and protect the service, which may include technical request and security logs. Access to the request management page is restricted server-side.

Saved ideas and preferences

Saved inspiration uses your browser’s local storage; planner selections use session storage. They are not a cross-device account. Selected planner details and saved idea names are included in your request when you choose to submit them. You can remove saved ideas with the heart controls or clear this site’s browser storage.

Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, the sources of those visits, phone-button clicks and successfully saved project requests. The Google tag loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” We do not send your name, email, phone number, project description or request reference to Google Analytics. Analytics cookies are set for up to 30 days. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Use “Analytics choices” in the footer to keep analytics off or withdraw permission; this stops measurement and removes this site’s Analytics cookies. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep Analytics off. Google Search Console helps us understand aggregate search visibility without adding a visitor tracking script.

Retention and choices

Project requests are retained while we review and manage the inquiry. You may ask for a copy, correction or deletion by emailing the contact address above from the email used in your request. We may need to verify the request and retain information when required for a legitimate operational or legal purpose.

City, County and manufacturer links lead to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices. This service is intended for adults planning property projects.
